From Our Pastor Dear Brothers and Sisters, We continue our Christmas celebrations this Sunday with the Feast of the Holy Family. Knowing that the holidays can bring out both the best and worst of us, especially in the context of our own families, we want to use this Feast as a chance to pray for our families, especially for healing and reconciliation, and the grace to love one another, even to the point of sacrifice. Often it seems easier to love others that we only know casually, while it is more difficult to love our own families, whom we know so well. This reality reveals the truth that love is not just a matter of feelings, but the often difficult and sacrificial choice to put the good of others before ourselves. Only with God’s grace can we love in this way. Thanks be to God that He offers us this very grace! On this Feast of the Holy Family we pray for our own families, and our parish family, for the help we need to love one another fully and completely. God Bless and Merry Christmas!
