Welcome to Middle School Youth Ministry!

What is IMPACT?

IMPACT is the faith formation program offered at OLPH for our youth in grades 6-8. It combines large and small group presentations, lessons, discussions, prayer, games, and activities to provide formal catechesis in an energetic and passionate way. It is our hope that students who participate in IMPACT will come away not only with a true knowledge and understanding of Christ and our Catholic Faith, but more importantly a personal relationship with Him, and a deeper appreciation of their own Catholic identity.

IMPACT offers 2 topics each year in a 3-year cycle, so that youth in grades 6-8 will receive all 6 total topics over the course of their 3 years in middle school. All youth in grades 6-8 participate in the same 2 topic sessions each year. The core content of catechesis is presented in every session, every year, and the themed topic sessions give us the opportunity to present the Faith through different lenses and focuses.

FRIDAY, April 23: Middle School Dance

Join us in Harrison Hall from 7:30-10:00 pm for our last Middle School Dance of the School Year! Tickets are $5 at the door, drinks are $1 inside. All middle school youth are welcome to come, parishioners and non-parishioners! Appropriate dress and behavior are required.

Confirmation Follow-up Retreat

All youth who were just confirmed are invited to join us for our first ever Confirmation Follow-up Retreat! We'll have a Holy Hour, talks, games, quiet time for prayer, food, friends, fun... don't miss this! 7:00 pm Friday - 11:00 am Saturday, all right here at OLPH. The cost is $25, and participants will need a permission slip to attend. Please email Kristen for more info.
